This striking painting captures the mood of a serene landscape, featuring an expansive sky that transitions from soft blues to warm ochres, merging harmoniously with earthy tones below. The atmospheric effect of mist and clouds creates depth, inviting viewers to escape into the tranquility of the scene. The texture adds a tactile dimension, enhancing its visual appeal. The interplay of colors evokes feelings of calmness and reflection, making it a perfect centerpiece.
This painting can be utilized in various interior settings to enhance the ambiance. It is ideal for living rooms, creating a soothing atmosphere, or can serve as a focal piece in a bedroom. Consider placing it above a neutral-toned sofa or as part of a gallery wall with complementary artwork. Its earthy tones also make it suitable for modern or rustic decor styles.
In my work I captured powerful emotions by using acrylic, sand and tar. I have chosen an abstract representation to convey feelings of depth and complexity. This painting radiates a dynamic energy that revitalises every room, its mysterious atmosphere encourages reflection and inspiration. It will not only be a eye-catcher, but also leave a lasting emotional impression.

Marion Kotyba

Kulmbach
Marion Kotyba was born on August 16, 1968 in Kulmbach. Further artistic training through lecturers and art symposiums. She has had her own studio since 2008 and is also intensively active in children's and adult education in the field of art. Freelance artist since 2010. Since November 2017, owner of the KUNSTGALERIE & Atelier at Oberhacken 3, Kulmbach. The prominent feature in Marion Kotyba's art is the theme of 'rust and aging' as a stylistic device in abstract acrylic painting. In this context, the artist repeatedly interprets the interplay of color, light, structures and technical implementation in an artistically impressive power of interpretation that is both new and exciting at the same time. Recently, observations of natural weather influences - rusted surfaces, broken structures, glazes and the combination thereof - have played an important role. In doing so, the artist works out her concerns in clearly defined groups of works, primarily in a non-objective manner, in order to offer the viewer of her work enough freedom to let their own imagination run wild on an abstract level of representation. The versatile and experimental artist takes the freedom to choose style, color and technique according to her mood. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Exhibitions: Regional/National: Kulmbach, Neudrossenfeld, Coburg, Thurnau, Kronach, Bonn, Rathingen, Berlin, Auerbach/Vogtland, Plauen, Marktredwitz, Selb, Passau, Cologne, Bad Berneck, Fürth, Frankfurt, Bad Elster, Bad Staffelstein, Hof, Munich, Bad Münder, Wetzlar, Altenkunstadt, Bad Windsheim, Münchberg, Darmstadt, Essen, Dorsten, Essen, Herzogenrath, Monheim, Gemünden am Main, Ratingen, Monheim, Bonn, Cologne International: Italy, Austria, France, Slovakia, Malta, Serbia, Lithuania, USA, Netherlands, Spain, Hong Kong Awards: Palm ART Award 2016 Certificate of Excellence Gallery representation: LDXArtodrome, Berlin, Galerie Goossenaerts, Bad Honnef Purchases Private collectors from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and the United States Artothek Bayreuth (acquisition 2022)
