This abstract painting features a harmonious blend of earth tones such as warm oranges, deep blacks, and subtle golds. The artwork showcases soft, flowing transitions that evoke a sense of calm and serenity. The texture is richly layered, with varying brush strokes that add depth and intrigue to the piece. Subtle crackling in the upper section introduces an element of organic imperfection, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal. This painting invites viewers to explore its depth and complexity, making it a striking focal point in any space.
This artwork can be effectively used in modern living rooms, sophisticated dining areas, or serene bedrooms. It pairs beautifully with minimalist décor, allowing its colors to stand out against neutral backgrounds. Consider placing it above a sleek sofa or mantel to draw the eye and create a conversation starter. Additionally, it can add warmth and elegance to an office space, making it a perfect addition to professional environments seeking a touch of artistry.
In my work, acrylic, sand and tar flow together to create an abstract landscape full of passion and intensity. The earth tones and the rough texture express the wild beauty of nature and invite the viewer to immerse himself in a world beyond the graspable. With every brush stroke, I wanted to capture the untamed energy of the autumn and bring a piece of it into every room in which this painting hangs. Autumn tuning implemented with scoring and rust. The work is an original and therefore a unique one - signed and stamped by hand. Only high-quality colors and materials were used. The canvas is clipped and painted on the back and can thus be suspended immediately.

Marion Kotyba

Kulmbach
Marion Kotyba was born on August 16, 1968 in Kulmbach. Further artistic training through lecturers and art symposiums. She has had her own studio since 2008 and is also intensively active in children's and adult education in the field of art. Freelance artist since 2010. Since November 2017, owner of the KUNSTGALERIE & Atelier at Oberhacken 3, Kulmbach. The prominent feature in Marion Kotyba's art is the theme of 'rust and aging' as a stylistic device in abstract acrylic painting. In this context, the artist repeatedly interprets the interplay of color, light, structures and technical implementation in an artistically impressive power of interpretation that is both new and exciting at the same time. Recently, observations of natural weather influences - rusted surfaces, broken structures, glazes and the combination thereof - have played an important role. In doing so, the artist works out her concerns in clearly defined groups of works, primarily in a non-objective manner, in order to offer the viewer of her work enough freedom to let their own imagination run wild on an abstract level of representation. The versatile and experimental artist takes the freedom to choose style, color and technique according to her mood. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Exhibitions: Regional/National: Kulmbach, Neudrossenfeld, Coburg, Thurnau, Kronach, Bonn, Rathingen, Berlin, Auerbach/Vogtland, Plauen, Marktredwitz, Selb, Passau, Cologne, Bad Berneck, Fürth, Frankfurt, Bad Elster, Bad Staffelstein, Hof, Munich, Bad Münder, Wetzlar, Altenkunstadt, Bad Windsheim, Münchberg, Darmstadt, Essen, Dorsten, Essen, Herzogenrath, Monheim, Gemünden am Main, Ratingen, Monheim, Bonn, Cologne International: Italy, Austria, France, Slovakia, Malta, Serbia, Lithuania, USA, Netherlands, Spain, Hong Kong Awards: Palm ART Award 2016 Certificate of Excellence Gallery representation: LDXArtodrome, Berlin, Galerie Goossenaerts, Bad Honnef Purchases Private collectors from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and the United States Artothek Bayreuth (acquisition 2022)
