The artist was inspired by those memories. | “...somewhere in my head a movie projector was turned on and in two seconds the movie I thought I had completely forgotten was played for me. Through the swarm of festively dressed bodies, Liza came to me as though through a decorated city full of flapping flags (Liza laughing; Liza staring at the window of her apartment, she lives above a clock shop; Liza naked and how I caress her; Liza walking along in a procession; all in colour...” | The artist wrote text fragments with leaf metal in gold and bronze colors. The changing incidence of light during the day ensures that the texts stand out more or less. The texts are in English and in Dutch. The painting is 60x80 cm and framed in a blank wooden frame.
