Oil on linen 70x95x2cm (27.6x37.4x0.8in) 2021, ready to hang.
“Wonder Woman nursing” is an artwork which I painted from a picture shot while my girlfriend Elisa was feeding our baby. You can see the Wonder Woman character modelled on Elisa as a hymn to young mother’s strength but, to be honest, I chose the picture for the tenderness I could feel in it and took the decision of dressing Elisa as a superheroine later on (and it was basically for giving the artwork a surreal and hironic taste). The artwork is painted with vibrant, expressive brush strokes. It is colourful and luminous.
“Wonder Woman nursing” is a 70x95cm oil on linen painting, it is mounted on a supported wooden canvas and it is ready to hang.
