Christoph Franke is inspired by the idea that photographs similar to water store and release energy.
Characterized by the encounter with the alchemist and photographer Marino Lazzeroni, he pursues the idea "Zen in the art of archery" and to press the camera trigger with the motif at the moment of one.
His particular interest applies to the concept of polarity. Mutual poles as above and below, light and shadow, hot and cold or yin and yang are in this idea and result in a whole. They tense up the reality as we know it and make it possible to perceive a material world.
His photographs were exhibited in galleries, museums and at festivals in Germany and internationally in England, France, Spain, Georgia and China.
